XP Series LATAM Summer 24: An Unforgettable Season!


Summer season.


The second edition of the XP Series LATAM has come to an end, leaving an indelible mark on the world of Latin American SimRacing. Organized by Omega Exp and endorsed by the Automobile Club of Costa Rica , a member of the FIA , this professional championship had the participation of more than 50 drivers from seven countries, competing on iRacing platforms in three categories: Elite, Pro and League of Ascent.

Competition: Individual and Team ๐Ÿ†๐ŸŽฎ


The season, which began on March 6, included five individual dates and a team endurance race. Each race brought renewed excitement and an exceptional level of competition, with the region's best talent battling for victory and cash prizes.


In the Elite category, Dino Filippa was crowned champion with 117 points, closely followed by Nicolรกs Rubilar with 114 points. Despite his impressive perseverance and effort, Rubilar lost the championship for not participating in a race. Gustavo Mendez completed the podium with 105 points, showing his skill and consistency in each competition.




Gonzalo Fabi: Absolute Champion ๐ŸŒŸ ๐Ÿ


The Pro category saw Gonzalo Fabi stand out with 137 points, becoming the undisputed champion. Carlos Mouesca and Manuel Saralegui tied at 109 points, but Mouesca secured the runner-up position thanks to his victory in one of the races. Nahuel Fredes and Lucia Tosi also demonstrated their skill, taking fourth and fifth place respectively.






AM Category: Opportunities for Everyone โšก๐ŸŒ


The Promotion League was an exciting platform that allowed new talent and experienced drivers to compete for a place in the Pro category. Nicolรกs Cucatto took the title with 144 points, followed by Jean Carlo Salas , both earning their promotion alongside Nico Murua and Josuรฉ Savio, who also impressed with their performance and were awarded a place in the Pro category. A League filled with drivers who benefited from our alliance with ACCR, iRacing and FIA .

ENDURANCE by Teams: A race for the community๐Ÿ”ฅ

50 Drivers + 12 Teams + 20 Vehicles = Race!

Sudamรฉrica Racing Team MC , with the unstoppable duo of Dino Filippa and Nicolรกs Rubilar , was proclaimed champion of the XP Series LATAM Summer 24. Patagonia Samurai eRacing and Voracious GG secured second and third place, respectively, highlighting their high level of competition.

The Endurance competition is a race to define an XP Series Champion Team at the end of each season, allowing drivers from the OEXP community to participate and have exposure opportunities in the region, it is designed exclusively for the Teams participating in any of the all three categories, allowing its other drivers the opportunity to rub shoulders with the best.



A Season that distributed $1000 between all races, and that comes with changes.


As a novelty for the Winter season, we will have prizes for the first three places in the Elite and Pro categories. In addition, we will have the participation of pilots from other organizations that join the Omega Exp ecosystem.
