The CONAPE Cup Kicked Off! Pure Excitement in the First Round of the University Indoor Karting Championship.

The long-awaited CONAPE Cup has officially started, bringing together university karting enthusiasts for an unforgettable competition. The first race of the University Indoor Karting Championship was a showcase of skill, determination, and pure racing passion.

From the moment the lights turned green, the energy on the track was electrifying. Students from various universities battled it out in intense races, demonstrating their talent and competitive spirit. Each curve, overtake, and strategy made a difference in the final results.

In the afternoon, the various championship races took place, and the podium for the top three categories was as follows:

Category “A”:

1. Sebastian Rodriguez Vasquez.

2. Pablo Antonio Guasch Ruiz.

3. Arash Mostakhdeminhosseini Zuñiga.

Category “B”:

1. Misael Artavia Saenz.

2. Jose Francisco Solis.

3. Denisse Marie Mann Bustamante.

Category “C”:

1. Maggio Cercone.

2. Ismael Fernando Barquero Loria.

3. Luis Fernando Herrera Vargas.

Nine universities participated in the competition: UCR, TEC, UNA, UIA, UAM, Fidelitas, LCI Veritas, U Latina, and Castro Carazo. This event provided a unique opportunity for both novice and experienced drivers to showcase their talent in a championship endorsed by Costa Rica’s most important motorsport authority, the Automobile Club of Costa Rica, and regulated by the Hot Lap team of commissioners, who bring over 20 years of experience.

Additionally, the event was supported by Red Bull, CONAPE, and the UCR Business Administration Student Association, further elevating the competition’s quality.

With a flawless start, free of delays or issues, the CONAPE Cup has set a new standard for university Indoor Karting in Costa Rica. As the championship progresses, expectations continue to rise among both fans and drivers.
